It all started in my kitchen back in 2009. My husband Tom was struggling with his diabetes, and the dietitian gave him this complicated meal plan that looked like a chemistry experiment. I thought to myself, "There has to be a simpler way."

So I started researching, talking to doctors, and testing different approaches. What I found was that most nutrition advice was too complicated for busy people. We needed something practical that would work for real families with real schedules.

The first course I created was just a simple PDF with meal ideas and shopping lists. I shared it with some friends, and before I knew it, word spread around our community. People were getting results, losing weight, and feeling better.

Now, fifteen years later, we've helped thousands of Canadians from coast to coast. The approach is still the same - keep it simple, make it practical, and always remember that behind every student is a person with their own story and struggles.
